Handy Home Repairs is a residential design-build and construction company based in Burlington, Ontario. We help homeowners plan, design, and build projects that are functional, durable, and thoughtfully executed — from architectural and interior design to custom outdoor structures and quality home improvements.

Our Background & Experience

Founded in the mid-to-late 1990s, our company is built on decades of hands-on experience in building, renovating, repairing, and improving both the interiors and exteriors of homes. What began as practical trade work has evolved into a full-scope design-build operation, allowing us to guide projects from early concept through final construction with a strong technical and structural foundation.

Design and Construction Under One Roof

Our lead designer and builder is a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) with an Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology, and has designed and detailed over a thousand wood structures — from pergolas and pool cabanas to flat roof systems and large custom homes. This technical background ensures that every project is not only visually well considered, but also properly engineered and build-ready.

We work exclusively on residential projects, allowing us to understand how families use their spaces and how homes in Burlington and surrounding communities are built and maintained.
